ABOUT 50 bee-keepers around Rwooho Forest reserve, Mwizi, Rwampala in Mbarara, have petitioned President Yoweri Museveni to look for an investor to process about 20,000 litres of honey that they produce annually.
While visiting the group last week, the co-ordinator for Support for Women in Agriculture and Environment (SWAGEN), Gertrude Kenyangyi, said these bee-keepers produce about 10,000 litres per harvest and they do it twice yearly.
