AN aura of tension settled in the Big Brother Africa (BBA) house yesterday as the countdown on eviction day started.

Three housemates, Malawi’s quiet Zein Dudha, Zimbabwe’s Tapuwa Mhere and Nigeria’s Bayo Adetomiwa Okoh, were nominated for possible eviction on Sunday.

Yesterday, the housemates spent most of the day quietly cleaning the house, washing clothes and exercising, but with each being suspicious of who could have nominated them.

Even Uganda’s talkative Gaetano Kaggwa, who earlier in the week was in the UK on exchange, hardly spiced up the day.

He was exempted from the nominations and his immunity did not allow him to nominate.
Each of the three nominees received four votes.

Many viewers were surprised by Bayo’s nomination, against Kenya’s Alex Holi, who also survived last week’s eviction.

South African Abby Plaatjes and Tanzania’s Mwisho Mwampamba, were not nominated for eviction at all.
