UGANDA Cricket Association (UCA) has suspended Premier CC from participating in the the Castle Lager league with immediate effect. The 1999 national champions have failed to turn up for games without written explanation to UCA. “We tried our best to link up with the club but all in vein,” organising secretary Fred Lutaya said.

BONIFACE Kiprop’s hope of setting a new personal best was shattered when he finished a miserable 11th in the Lausanne Super Grand Prix on Tuesday evening.
The Puma sponsored athlete clocked 13 minutes, 49.45 seconds, a whopping 33.43 seconds slower than his personal best and national record, which stands at 13:16.02.
It is Kiprop’s slowest time this season.
