State minister for defence Ruth Nankabirwa has hailed the people of Lango for being God-fearing.
She advised them to work for peace.
Nankabirwa was recently addressing Christians at St. Augustine Church of Uganda in Lira town, after attending the marriage ceremony of Apac Woman MP Betty Amongi.
“I am surprised by the big congregation. In other places people only pray on big days like Christmas, please keep it up,†she said.
