Lately, the newly-established Presidential Guard Brigade (PGB), formerly the Presidential Protection Unit (PPU), has been looked at by negative politicians as a waste of taxpayers’ money and a channel for the President to keep himself in power with a personal army.
Is yesterday’s case, in which part of this unit rescued Ugandans from the fangs of Kony, Museveni’s way of keeping himself in power? Does it not show that PGB is for all of us? I say, well done, PGB!
