SIR— I would like to refer to the editor’s comment in your October 3 edition, entitled, “Allow Iran nuclear powerâ€.
In the editorial, you referred to Pakistan as falling under the category of “rogue statesâ€.
First of all, I would like to reiterate that President George W. Bush of the United States of America (USA) has never included Pakistan as a rogue country in any of his comments.
Secondly, everyone knows that the Government of Pakistan does not support or condone illegal acts of these organisations.
The Government has left no stone unturned in hunting down the leaders of such organisations, apprehending them and imposing appropriate punishments against them.
It is not a secret that the Pakistani Government has co-operated with every interested party in tracking down these criminals, including alluring them to be extradited whenever they are wanted to answer for their crimes under courts of law.
What the Pakistani Government has done demonstrates clearly that Pakistan is far from being classified as a rogue State.
