YAKOBO pool cup holder Moses Kiggundu’s bid for the sh1m top prize continues with battle against George Kisawuzi this weekend. Kiggundu’s match will open the second round action at Yakobo Joint in Ntinda. The holder’s campaign started with a 3-0 win over Mike Mawejje last week. Kisawuzi also advanced after a 3-1 success over Kyazze Muzungu 3-2.

THE kid’s league at KK health club in Ntinda has gained momentum according to Black belt champion Loketo Lee. “The response is positive and kids have shown lots of willingness to learn,†Lee said. The event has attracted boys and girls between four and 14 years.

THE Uganda Juniors League (UJL) select team is not about to end its measles’ immunisation campaign. This is after the World Health Organisation (WHO) requested them to extend the campaign to the street children in Kampala.The outstanding stars from the select football teams will be allowed to play in their junior football league in February.

FORMER Express FC Turkish coach Yiridimir Kadir, sacked last year for incompetence, was sighted selling second hand clothes at the just concluded Lugogo trade fair. Kadir was found at a stall displaying second hand clothes close to the Iran-Uganda Establishments stall. Speaking through an interpreter Salim Mohammed, Kadir said he can still coach any team in Uganda if approached, he said he was just sabotaged by some Express officials.
