Inzikuru’s father villain, blackmailing daughter
Sir - I plead with you people at Sports Desk and any one conversant with the sports fraternity to handle the long distance athlete Dorcus Inzikuru saga very carefully. I think we may end up destroying the career of this girl.
We all have parents and relatives, but how we deal with them is a private matter. I find it extremely strange that Inzikuru's father Jackson and mother Joyce Lulua are trying to blackmail their daughter.
I don’t believe or will be made to take it that the father is entitled to part of the earnings of Inzikuru. It is up to Inzikuru to choose whether to give her parents money or not.
I wonder why no journalist has asked this man — whom I understand is a church Lay reader — why he is demanding money with menace from his daughter.
Is he not ashamed that he is being used by Michael Ezra and group to embarrass and blackmail Inzikuru and her manager?
The press should not portray Inzikuru's father as a victim. He is the villain!

In support of Mbabazi fund
Sir - Reports about Livingstone Charles Mbabazi's health last week were so touching. I was even more moved that his club is trying to help him save his endangered talent.
With due respect to those who have grudges against him, I call upon all Ugandans to contribute to the Charlie Fund, and may be bring him back to the Cranes someday. We miss his outstanding performances. I pledge to contribute to this cause if a credible trust (not Obua's FUFA) is set-up to handle the fund.
Quick recovery, Charlie.
