GULU Police has said at least two people died and 20 others injured in the 12 road accidents reported in October.
Police recently said they had stepped up their operations on the roads and sensitisation drivers and residents on road use.

HIV/AIDS high

Gulu Municipality MP Norbert Mao has said HIV/AIDS prevalence among mothers in Gulu was high. Mao attributed this to the high rate of rape due to the insecurity in the area.
He was speaking at a graduation party at the Kibuli Police Training School in Kampala.

Khelil said this on Tuesday during the Idd El Fitri prayers at Gulu Public Primary School.
