PRINCE William Gabula Nadiope 1V has announced that he will start attending the Busoga Lukiiko and Royal Council as the Bugabula chief. The move, he said, was meant to unite the Busoga.

Gabula said at 20, he is mature enough to make decisions and administer the chiefdom and does not need to be represented.

Until the announcement, he was being represented by the Bugabula Isabalangira (chief), Caesar Lukalu.
Addressing a gathering at Budhumbula palace on Kamuli road on Saturday, Gabula introduced his six-man advisory committee.

The members are Brewer Abaliwano, Patrick Muyingo, Gideon Lubaale, James Isababi, Patrick Batumbya and Laston Walusaga.

It was attended by the Busoga acting Kyabazinga, David Kaunhe Wakholi (Bukholi), Juma Luba Munuulo (Bunhya), Fred Menhya Kakaire (Bugweri), John Ngolo Nanhyumba (Bunyoli) and Caesar Lukalu (Bugabula).

Wakholi called for unity as the kingdom prepares for the Kyabazinga elections.
He drew cheers when he informed the royals to start searching for an Inhebantu (queen), saying he was sure Gabula would be elected Kyabazinga.
