EDITOR—The state of the Entebbe Botanical Gardens leaves a lot to be desired. What is supposed to be one of the most beautiful nature spots in this country is now a bush.

EDITOR—The state of the Entebbe Botanical Gardens leaves a lot to be desired. What is supposed to be one of the most beautiful nature spots in this country is now a bush.

Anyone who remembers how immaculately-maintained the gardens were during Amin’s regime will surely know what I am talking about.

The National Agricultural Research Organisation cannot come up with any excuse, whatsoever, for the shameful state of the gardens.
These are times that call for economic ingenuity.

A place popular with revellers like the Botanical Gardens cannot fail to attract corporate companies or advertisers to place billboards in certain sections of the gardens, thereby providing revenue to maintain the place.
