ALLEN Kakooza is an award-nominated Kinnauganda movie actress who is most famous for her lead role in the VideoWorld Production Abakyaala Baagala Ki.
She is also a member of the award-winning band, Eagles Production. Here is the outfit she wore to one of the Uganda Movie Awards bashes.
You can get the ensemble at Cinci Co, a chain of boutiques and salons in uptown Kampala. However, there are places where you can get it for less.
Kakooza’s evening dress with a matching scarf costs sh500,000 from Cinci Co. The silver necklace and earring set cost sh70,000 at the same shop, while the wrist watch goes for sh80,000.
Still at Cinci Co, silver clutch bags cost sh30,000 as do the bangles. Kakooza’s high-heeled shoes (not visible in the photo) cost sh150,000.
Round off the look with hair extensions that cost sh35,000 (complete with styling) and you will have achieved Kakooza’s look for about sh870,000.
However, you can achieve the same look for less from classy boutiques in town. Top Shop at Colline House, Pilkington Road, sells classy ladies’ evening dresses similar to Kakooza’s from sh250,000 upwards.
At Zahra’s Accessories on Jumbo Plaza, you can get silver earrings and necklace sets for sh30,000 while bracelets go for sh10,000.
The Ex-Options Boutique on the same building sells ladies’ party shoes at sh55,000 a pair.
Get yourself fairly cheap imitation silver ladies’ watches from Kyakuwa General Enterprises for about sh40,000.
You cannot, however, get a better deal than sh35,000 on the hair extensions.
Altogether you can save up to sh480,000 to achieve Kakooza’s look.
