THE Uganda Girl Guides Association is set to carry out recruitment of girls aged between seven and 18 in all schools countrywide.

THE Uganda Girl Guides Association is set to carry out recruitment of girls aged between seven and 18 in all schools countrywide.
During their annual general meeting at Fairway Hotel, the national trainer, Juliana Bezuidenhout, appealed to headteachers and parents to support the association.
Founded in 1910, the idea of Girl Guides revolves around teaching domestic skills, physical fitness, camping, citizenship training, career preparation and survival skills among others.
The meeting also revised the by-laws governing the association.
