Balunywa has no case to answer

EDITOR—The media has been awash with stories of how the MUBS head, Mr Wasswa Balunywa, frustrates staff with a PhD qualification. This allegation is false.
In 2007, Balunywa wrote letters to all MUBS academic staff with a Master’s degree.
He asked all of us to write plans for advancing our education to a PhD level.
So I find it strange that the same person advising staff to attain PhDs, should be accused of harassing senior staff! Anyone interested in fighting Balunywa, should look for another excuse.
