THE Super 8 Rugby League champions Uganda telecom Kobs will go for a routine kill when they take on bottom-of-the-table Nile at Kampala Rugby Club as the second round resumes today.
While Kobs will be in action, title rivals MTN Heathens and G4S Pirates have had their fixtures rescheduled to next week because both had more than six players in the Cranes squad that is in Tunisia for the return leg of the World Cup qualifier.
Kobs will be out to win by a big margin because the 2009 league title race is expected to go down to the wire and the number of tries might come in handy.
Kobs were docked of three points and now stand at 27 points just like Pirates.
Meanwhile, the Cranes reportedly are coping well with sweltering temperatures in Tunisia ahead of today’s World Cup qualifier.
Cranes lost the first leg in Kampala 41-17 and must close a 24-points gap to make the final.
