<b>Arua accident victims get help</b> <br>ARUA-The Uganda Red Cross Society on Thursday donated items to survivors of last week’s accident in which over 10 farmers were killed in Maracha-Terego district.

ARUA-The Uganda Red Cross Society on Thursday donated items to survivors of last week’s accident in which over 10 farmers were killed in Maracha-Terego district. More than 99 farmers are still admitted at Arua Hospital. The items included 210 blankets, 630 pieces of soap and 500 gloves. The farmers were travelling on a lorry from Onyungari to Pajulu in Arua district to get paid for their produce from the British American Tobacco office.

RDC vehicle hits one dead
LIRA-One person died and six others were injured when they were hit by the official vehicle for Lira resident district commissioner Joan Pacoto on Sunday. The district criminal investigations chief, Christopher Ucamgiu, said the truck knocked Ketty Ajok dead at Kichope. The driver, Jimmy Okello, was injured. Others injured were Harriet Aciro, a student, Bonney Omuge, an LDU and Emmanuel Ojera, a student at Kampala International University.
