Why is Makerere duplicating courses?

EDITOR—Last week the media was awash with stories about how the National council for higher education had refused to approve certain courses for Makerere University.
EDITOR—Last week the media was awash with stories about how the National council for higher education had refused to approve certain courses for Makerere University.
What is surprising is that most of these courses (eg procurement) are already being taught at its business school—Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
Why should Makerere introduce courses at the main campus yet the same courses are at MUBS? Can someone at Makerere explain to me?
