Chan visits Gloria and asks about the bribe and she plays innocent. Buglios stole his father’s money, but the police suspect Erasmo. Melissa leaves Mexico with her mother to study in the US. Barbarita is excited to have Luicito to herself again. The doctor who got Gloria’s fake results is confused why the doctors did not treat her earlier. Sergio blames himself saying he should have encouraged her to seek treatment. The doctor calls Gloria’s past doctors and they know nothing of her cancer. Sergio smells a rat and wants to know what Erasmo and Fe are hiding from him. Elias is disturbed by the information he got from Esther. They meet in a restaurant and Esther tells him about the evidence she has against Valentine. Will Elias save his brother?

IN La Paz, Luisa Fernanda goes to dinner with the Don and leaves Alfredo with Xochil, who accidentally falls on top of him. The two kiss and Xochil begs for his love. Luisa tells the Don that Consuelo threw Vanessa out of the house after he and Rigoberta left. The next day, the Don and Rigo return to Mexico where the Don asks Vanessa to return home. Alfredo confronts Carlos Eduardo accusing him of following Luisa to La Paz. Luisa and Pedro have to return to Mexico because little Pedro is sick. Marissa returns when she discovers that Carlos Eduardo only took her to the clinic to be with Luisa. Guillermo, the director of Jennifer’s new modelling agency, proposes marriage to her. She turns the proposal down, because she is still in love with Carlos Eduardo. Marissa overhears Lupe and Ordonez talking about Luis Alejandro’s daughter and she demands to know who she is.
