THE Ayivu County MP, Margaret Angufiru, has constructed a health center worth sh300m. The health center located in Oluko sub-county, Arua district, is meant to improve the health standards of the poor people in the constituency, Angufiru said recently.

She also said the health center, located four kilometers from Arua Hospital, would save area residents from walking long distances in search of treatment.

“My people have been trekking a long distance in search of treatment. This health center will save them from further suffering,” Angufiru said.

The health center has a capacity of 70 beds and will employ more than 12 people. It will also have a nurses’ training wing.

Angufiru said she hopes the Government will take over the health center. Angifuru on Saturday also donated textbooks to Montessori Primary School in Arua district during the school’s 10th anniversary.
