EDITOR— KCC Kamwokya Primary School has been in existence for some years. However, it is surprising to visitors and parents that the school has no signpost! It was an embarrassment when some senior ministry of education officials who had gone to visit the school got lost within the slums in the neighbourhood trying to locate the school!
During last year’s Primary Leaving Examinations, Uganda National Examinations Board supervisors and invigilators spent some hours trying to figure out where the school was located. They arrived late and the implication of that is obvious.
KCC should wake up and erect a signpost for the school. It is not flattering to go on asking boda- boda riders and hawkers where the school is. the headmistress says her efforts and appeal to have KCC put up a signpost have fallen on deaf ears.
