BUSINESS came to a standstill in Mbarara town on Friday when supporters of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) marched on the streets launching the fourth term for President Yoweri Museveni.

The supporters, guided by the Police and led by a brass band, called on Museveni to stand in the 2011 elections.

Minister of State for Urban Development Urban Tibamanya said the fourth term was launched because Ugandans were pleased with the services President Museveni has delivered.

He added that Museveni’s leadership had identified itself with peasants, who had asked him to contest again.

Tibamanya said Mbarara NRM supporters want Museveni to concentrate on other districts because he had already won in Mbarara.
