IT’S trendy and new in Uganda. The Zune media player will complement your up-town gizmo style. Manufactured by Microsoft, Zune is a line of portable media players competing with Apple’s iPod/iTunes and the SanDisk Sansa line.

First released in the US in 2006, Zune players receive FM radio, connect to the internet and download TV shows, music, movies and pictures, viewable on their high resolution screen, supported by sleek headphones.

The players are either hard drive-based or flash memory-based, with storage of up to 120 GB plus. They enable wireless sharing of files with sister gadgets, as well as via USB and Windows computers running on XP, Vista and Windows Seven.

For one, go to Computer Vision on Nkrumah Road, Raps Systems and most computer shops on Kampala Road. Prices are competitive.
