A fire gutted Kabarole Islamic primary School in March 2006 and 13 children perished in the inferno.
The parents, teachers and all those close to them mourned and the incident faded into oblivion.
But not so long ago, a dormitory at Budo Junior was burnt down and 20 children perished and the incident came close to the being declared a day of national mourning. Are some children more children than others?

When the Nakivubo parkyard went up in flames there was a stampede of MPs and other dignitaries visiting and offering their sympathies and support.
I have no problem with that but If we are all Ugandans, what is wrong with sympathising with all other Ugandans the same way irrespective of location? Why the double standards?
