EDITOR—Gaetano Kaggwa’s raise to fame has always been intertwined with controversy, not because that he is the only immoral Ugandan but because even those who victimise him have skeletons in their own closets. First was his sexual escapades in the Big Brother house that sparked off a national outcry but ironically earned him a job at Multichoice and Capital radio.

When the Chogm billboards came, everyone asked how effective Gaetano’s picture on them showed how Uganda was ready for Chogm.

And now his suspension over allowing a lesbian exercise her right of free expression using vulgar connotations. But we quickly forget that pastor martin Sempa on a television programme “In focus” on Wbs also used the four-letter words and explicitly spoke about human private parts when debating homosexuality! Why is Gaetano in the spotlight over valugar language and not the ethics and integrity minister Nsaba Buturo, over the Mega Fm’s money? Give Gaetano a break!
