EDITOR—Thank you for publishing my article, “Why I left the Anglican Church for pentecostals†on Monday. The testimony is to help me overcome some false impressions about me. However, I request for some corrections. Luganda is not my mother tongue. Both my parents are Jopadhola.
EDITOR—Thank you for publishing my article, “Why I left the Anglican Church for pentecostals†on Monday. The testimony is to help me overcome some false impressions about me. However, I request for some corrections. Luganda is not my mother tongue. Both my parents are Jopadhola.
My mother tongue, therefore, is Dhopadhola, or commonly referred to as Ludama. I am a proud Japadhola from Tororo in eastern Uganda. My resistance to Anglicanism was also due to imposing Luganda on us.
Secondly, in my article, I did not say that my aunt has lived with my uncle for 70 years, but 60.
