Moles evicted, Titiana finds peace

NO more moles, no more putting Tatiana on pressure. Good-riddance for the Angolan. Big Brother on Monday night finally showed the moles; Ashanti and Victor the exit, declaring their mission accomplished.

NO more moles, no more putting Tatiana on pressure. Good-riddance for the Angolan. Big Brother on Monday night finally showed the moles; Ashanti and Victor the exit, declaring their mission accomplished.

Of course the mission was not to go vie for the staked $100,000; but wrecking havoc in the house. They did their best to cause commotion. Ashanti in particular managed to put Tatiana in her place by shifting Richard’s attention from the Angolan to herself.

Then Tatiana started changing clothes every few hours to reinstate herself as Richard’s object of attention. Well, she managed to arrest his attention, while the other more-than-half wandered somewhere in Ashanti’s heart.

Tatiana must now be having half nails — she bit them as tension remedy every time Ashanti was within Richard’s confines.

So you should not be surprised that Tatiana was the most relieved when Big Brother asked the moles to leave. After a Monday night impromptu diary session in which each of the finalists; Tatiana, Ofunneka and Richard expressed their readiness to walk away with the $100,000 jackpot, Big Brother called in the moles and asked them to reveal to the housemates that they were fakes.

Upon getting the news, the finalists were not much surprised because they had seen through the fakes’ facades, just that they could not exactly confirm their suspicions.

“We already knew you were fakes,” they said as the moles were being rushed out of the house. The finalists did not even have the chance to further discuss the twist with the moles since they left immediately after revealing their plot. Although the finalists had deciphered the puzzle, they wondered how some of the moles’ moves managed to fool them into believing they just might have been real housemates vying for the same jackpot.

Even then, they consoled themselves, claiming they gave the moles a hard time querying them time and again.

But I thought the reverse is true. The moles put the finalists on tension — Richard spending sleepless nights thinking about Ashanti and daydreaming while ogling her body, Tatiana stressed with thinking Richard would leave her for Ashanti, Ofunneka falling for Victor’s supposed feelings for her and then quarreling with Ashanti over a war the Kenyan model started on purpose, name it.

So who was fooling who? I think the finalists were fooled — if only Big Brother had given the moles more preparations to make their fake stories more believable.

Richard regretted having fought with Victor over the Zimbabwean’s telling Tatiana that he had seen Richard kissing Ashanti. At some point, he paused and just gave a thought-laden gaze, probably regretting why he was slow at fulfilling his earlier plans of diving to the sack with the Kenyan model, who was now too gone to be found again.

Tatiana just smiled, laughed and danced all the way because she had retained Richard for herself — at least for the remaining three days to the finale.

Ofunneka just gave a blank gaze of confusion that seemed to say, “If only Victor had stayed a little longer!”

I am also still gunning for votes in favour of Tatiana. Give the money to Richard and he will use it on swanky cars and hosting a bevy of women to aid his insatiable lust. Give it to Ofunneka and she will consider herself smart and take you for a fool for not seeing through her backstabbing nature. Give it to Tatiana and she will use it to save her ailing sister who suffers from leukemia.
