WHO would feel sympathy for someone who claims to have no water to drink when the water tap or borehole is in their compound? This is the kind of behaviour the relaxed government-sponsored students are showing at makerere University.
WHO would feel sympathy for someone who claims to have no water to drink when the water tap or borehole is in their compound? This is the kind of behaviour the relaxed government-sponsored students are showing at makerere University.
During these last and crucial days of examinations, private students are struggling to register in order to meet deadlines. I wonder, when I see government-sponsored students causing intolerable pressure in queues when the government sent their tuition fees months ago! It is even more surprising when such students fail to produce an examination permit during examinations.
They are giving unnecessary headache to faculty registrars. I wish these students also experienced the hardship of raising tuition fees as the private ones.
Supervisors should show no mercy to such students because they are grossly irresponsible. The registrar should fix a deadline for government-sponsored students. The case of private students is understandable.
