Cholera might break out in Ndeeba

Dec 15, 2007

THERE is an imminent epidemic of cholera in Ndeeba, a short distance from the city centre. Ndeeba is generally a swampy place and there are very few latrines in the area. Those that are constructed are very expensive and most people cannot afford them. Ndeeba Nsiike is the worst.

People use the railway line for toilets which is harmful to life. Cannabis consumption is on the increase in this place. Kampala city council should come to our rescue.

PAPSICA used to do good work and should be invited back. The water channels in Ndeeba are clogged and need to be desilted to avoid flooding. Ndeeba needs urgent help from KCC or any other wellwishers.

If the administration of kampala city is taken over by the central government, I request that attention is paid to Ndeeba. Most of Ndeeba is a swampy area and has very shallow latrines!
