Uganda’s U-17 ambassadors to the Africa COPA Coca-Cola tournament were shown the exit yesterday after falling 4-0 at the hands of a Nigerian side whose average age is 20.

“We were told to assemble players below 17 years, players that would also be used as ball boys during the FIFA Confederations Cup for exposure. The rules have been muddled,” coach Mike Mutebi complained.

“It has been a learning process. I am not disappointed.”
