UGANDA table tennis officials have agreed to review the body’s constitution in an effort to promote unity in the sport.
The decision comes after a meeting between sports ministry officials, clubs and a section of the association executive at the ministry’s offices last week.
The Wednesday meeting asked the association leaders to revisit some of their decisions, including the suspension of some national players.
A rift broke out between clubs, players and the executive on one side about the length of the executive’s term of office.
Association chief Emmanuel Matsyetsye insisted on a three-year term while his opponents wanted two.
