SHELL-Uganda in collaboration with international fuel experts (Fuel Academy) has equipped Uganda Taxi Operators and Drivers’ Association (UTODA) with modern driving skills that reduce fuel consumption with increased safety.

“You can save over 50% of the fuel consumed for any journey when you engage gears at the right time, reduce speed and stop the engine in traffic jam,†Taylor said, adding that with the high fuel prices, drivers need to adjust to modern driving skills that are cost-effective.
Ivan Kyayonka, Managing Director, Shell - Uganda said the current increment in fuel prices requires behavior change among drivers to reduce the burden.
