WHAT do international stars Michael Essien, Jay Jay Okocha, Peter Crouch and Ugandan artiste Grace Nakimera have in common? If a grand prize was staked on the question, you would scour the world looking for elusive answers.
Well, all these stars, who happen to be Guinness ambassadors, will on Thursday alongside millions around the world, raise their glasses at 17:59 (5:59pm) in recognition of the 250 years Guinness has made.
Thursday is the Arthur Guinness Day and will see special events taking place across Africa and worldwide. In Uganda, the UMA Show Grounds will host the event.
Joseph Masembe of Mase Consults, which is putting together the event, says at the heart of the Arthur Guinness Day will be a massive party and musical performances by Grace Nakimera, Bebe Cool, Aziz Azion, Cindy and Jamal.
To make it to the invite-only list, fans are encouraged to send their photographs, complete with a name and contact celebrating with a Guinness and take them to a Uganda Breweries depot.
He says they will run a quiz on Guinness where lucky winners will walk away with lots of prizes.
