ORGANISATIONS need to empower women with leadership skills and employ more women managers. I am an administrator and project assistant, AIDS clients and orphans support organisation, Gulu.
In the course of my work, I have met women managers who have made me proud of being a woman.
Women have good skills like: communication, group dynamics, case management and problem-solving.
By nature, women are counsellors and are motherly in the way they handle challenges.
The only way we can get more women to the top is through promoting girl education. I believe women education can change society.
However, men should accept to work under women leadership and build a strong teamwork. I am sure this would deepen men-to-women casual relationships at the workplace.
The writer is works with Avsi ACADOS a non-governmental organisation in Gulu
