CRANES international midfielder Johnson Bagoole has joined AS Vita club of DR Congo after a three-year stint with Rwandan side Attraco.

Bagoole is reported to have passed trials at the Congo premier league side in Kinshasa ahead of the club’s pre-season tour of Cameroon.

Vita Coach Raoul Shungu on Wednesday pronounced Bagoole fit for his side that is preparing for the Orange CAF Confederations Cup next season.
Attraco’s Ugandan head coach Sam Timbe could neither deny nor confirm Bagoole’s move but said that it is welcome.

“As a player it is good for him. You can’t play in one club only,” Timbe said.
“I have no problem with the move if they can follow the right procedures and rules (of transfer).”

Meanwhile, URA FC and SC Villa have confirmed participation in next year’s Orange CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup continental competitions.

URA won the Uganda Super League while VIlla lifted Kakungulu Cup.
