A Party here, a party there. This is a holiday season and the mood in Kampala is festive. This is what is expected at the first All-White party in Kampala in years, at T1 Club in Industrial Area this Tuesday, December 15.

Rashid Nsubuga of Magnum Entertainment, the organisers, says Big Brother Revolution Ugandan housemates, Hannington Kutesa and Philbert Okure, will jointly host the party.

The last time a white party was hosted in Kampala was a couple of years ago at Club Silk.

Nsubuga promises a brand new experience: “We will deliver something tailored to the cosmopolitan Ugandan. There will be performances and a rather pleasurable environment with a music mix of RnB, hip-hop, reggae and local hits,” he says.

The white colour theme has been chosen for what it depicts: “White symbolises peace: we want peace to prevail. It also means happiness and all Ugandans deserve a happy festive season,” Nsubuga says.

He also cautions those who intend to show up for the party to strictly observe the dress code. “This is strictly an all-white party and we intend to adhere to the tradition every year.”
