NEWS of Ashiraf Kasule’s excellent performance in last year’s Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) was not a surprise at his school, reports Kyomuhendo Muhanga.
“That is what was expected of him. He had always been getting above 98% in all the tests,†his former mathematics teacher, Gerald Musinguzi, said.
Kasule scored four aggregates in PLE and was one of the best performers in Mbarara district. Records at Window International School indicate Kasule never scored below 98% in any test since P.6.
Abudul Karim Ssengendo, his uncle, described Kasule as an all seasoned student. “He enjoyed Ludo, I think to start up his mind, then he would vanish to his room to read. The next time you would see him would be at supper,†Ssengendo said. “Most importantly Kasule never misses Juma prayers.â€
