SUB-COUNTY councils in the district have formed 15 lands committees to manage land issues.
The 75 councillors nominated to be members of the committees were approved by district council at a meeting in Scouts Hall recently.
The sub-counties included Chegere, Ibuje, Apac, Akokoro, Abongomola, Aduku, Nambieso, Akalo, and Inomo. Others are Balla, Ayer, Chawente, Alito, Aboke and Apac town council.
The speaker, Dickens Olang said there were many land wrangles that required people with vast knowledge and patience to handle them.
District chairman, Nicholas Bunga urged the committees to remain impartial. “You must avoid political or religious differences while deciding on land issues,†he said.
