THE gender ministry has started a women empowerment project in the north, reports Cornes Lubangakene.
During the launch on Monday, the Gulu coordinator, Brenda Aber said they will come up with income generating activities.
She added that Gulu alone would get sh28m and 17 women groups would be given sh18m to implement their projects. Aber asked beneficiaries to account for the funds.
The one-year project is funded by the UN development programme.
