GENERAL team manager Justin Ligyalingi has urged Uganda’s Olympic team to the Beijing Games not to lose hope as they still have another chance to try and win medals at international level. Uganda was among the 170 nations that left Beijing without a medal.

“Most of you are still young and you have the potential of being around in 2012. What we should be looking at is learning from these games and seeing how we can improve at the next games,” Ligyalingi said.

The National Council of Sports official made the remarks during Team Uganda's last meeting in Beijing where an assortments of gifts were handed over to the team of volunteer attachés who helped the team with the translation and general duties.
