EDITOR—Prof Livingstone Luboobi recently appeared before the parliamentary committee on social services. When he was asked about the complaint of the Makerere university concerned association’s complaint about exorbitant fees he thought he was a smart man!
EDITOR—Prof Livingstone Luboobi recently appeared before the parliamentary committee on social services. When he was asked about the complaint of the Makerere university concerned association’s complaint about exorbitant fees he thought he was a smart man!
His answer was that he did not know that such an association existed at Makerere! He was probably advised by a lawyer but hiding behind legalities will neither help the university administrators nor the students.
He should be grateful the students chose to be civil and handle the matter peacefully. He should abandon his smart alec antics because he might regret it!
