OMELETTES are common cuisine on our home menus but what makes the difference is the spicing and the preparation. Recently we discovered that besides the usual plain omelet, you can prepare a traditional Spanish omelet for your family.

Dan Baidhu, a chef with the Norwegian embassy, says the cuisine is nutritious because of its ingredients. Baidhu explains that the cuisine supplies calories and carbohydrates from potatoes and eggs.

He says since the ingredients in a Spanish omelet are eggs and potatoes, which are easy to digest, the dish is appropriate for those with delicate digestive system, the malnourished and ones recovering from weakening diseases or surgery.
