What’s her name again? I mean that Kenyan Big Brother evictee. Oh, yes — Sheila Kwamboka. I can’t even believe she is the subject of my intro. As far as this story is concerned, our Morris Mugisha should take precedence, huh?

Well, this Sheila girl, although I must succumb to her beauty, is such a hater. While still in the Big Brother house, she never wished our dude well. In fact, she made Morris her template nominee for eviction all the way.

Maybe her hating on our boy must have jinxed him, leading to his eviction last Sunday.

Friday night was her time to pay through the nose, as she came face-to-face with the wrath of Morris’ fans who turned up at Club Pa Lui in Ntinda to celebrate his homecoming.

Poor Sheila must have felt flattered on getting invited by Multichoice earlier in the week to attend Morris’ homecoming party. It turned out the Kenyan was being invited for a thrashing. The club was full — Morris’ family and fans of the M-Net reality show gathered to have a face-to-face glimpse of Morris. He made a superstar entrance at about 10:30pm to loud cheers from the revellers who swamped him with hugs and flying kisses as emcee Mitch Egwang asked him questions about his time in the Big Brother house.

Morris said all the while he regarded Sheila as his sister since Kenya is Uganda’s neighbour, only to get evicted and told she never wished him well.

It was just about then that Mitch motioned the revellers towards Sheila, who was making entrance planned to appear as impromptu.

“We love you Sheila, you are very beautiful, but we have unfinished business with you,” declared Mitch to a thunderous applause.

“Why did you keep on nominating Morris? Wouldn’t you have nominated a funny-looking person like Tawana, or the cartoon-like Takondwa? Should we take it that now you love Morris?”

Mitch asked all these questions amid others from the anti-Sheila revellers. From my vantage point, I could see her suppressing tears while trying to answer to a crowd that would not even pretend to understand. But, she managed to say: “Well, that was then. Right now there are projects Morris and I are working on and it’s what matters.” However Morris interjected saying the project is in the conceptualisation stage.

Mitch finally let her off the hook by suggesting that the fans pose for pictures with the evictees before engaging performances by Klear Kut, Radio and Weasel.

Towards midnight, Morris officially opened the dance party which went on till dawn.
