SIR — I thank Mr. Ras for the wonderful cartoons he always draws in The New Vision. They are really exciting and bring out messages in a funny way. I bless God for his talent. My comment, however, is on the one that ran on Monday. It was about rain-making technology which has been acquired by the Tanzanian government from Thailand.
Mr. Ras’s comment was that God’s monopoly on rain-making had finally been broken. Mr. Ras, God is not to be considered in the category of human wisdom and understanding.
The wisest of human wisdom is foolishness to Him. Let us keep our jokes at our level of understanding. It is Him who gave you the talent. Be a good steward and serve His people with it. God is God and that is what He will always be. Don’t invoke His wrath on you!
