SOCCER - MUKONO has hired the services of former Cranes’ goalkeeper Jamil Kasirye to help them move from the bottom of the Super League table. The team, yet to win any game in 13 outings, has also got another boost from the Front Page Microfinance, who have given them track-suits, jerseys and balls.

AFRICA GAMES - SPORTS federations have been advised to look to other sources of finances so that they start preparing for the All Africa Games. Olympic committee president Maj. Gen. SOCCER - THE fast growing Pro-Line soccer academy has started preparations after getting an invitation to participate in the prestigious Manchester Premier Cup in August this year in Manchester. The Pro-Line academy has 30 boys playing in the U-17 category, 20 in the U-14 category and 30 boys in the U-12, according to director Mujib Kasule.
