Coca-Cola in new marketing campaign

THE Coca-Cola Company has unveiled its latest global marketing campaign the “Coke Side of Life.”
George Nisbet, the company’s Uganda managing director, launched the campaign at the Kampala Serena Hotel on Friday in an action packed function.

Nisbet said the campaign is an affirmation of moments of joy, happiness and satisfaction that consumers worldwide enjoy “as they drink and interact with the famous fizzy and refreshing drink.”

“This global campaign comes in the wake of three successful campaigns; Coca-Cola Real, Coca-Cola Enjoy and Always Coca- Cola,” he explained.

Nisbet disclosed that the campaign had also been launched in Kenya and will be rolled out throughout the Coca-Cola East and Central Africa division over the next several months.

“We live in a world where we make choices everyday and the Coke Side of Life encourages people to make those choices positively,” he said.

Esther Mungai, the Coke country manager for East Africa, said the new campaign invites people to create their own positive reality, to be spontaneous, listen to their hearts and live life in full colour.
