THE Government is to fund a sh450m pipe water project in Mukono, Eng. Ronald Kato, the district’s water officer, has said.
Kato said works on the project would last six months.
At least 10, 000 residents of Mayangayanga, Kabimbiri and Kalagi villages in Nakifuma sub-county will benefit from the water project.
He said: “Residents will decide how much they will pay per jerrycan.†The funds will be used for maintenance.
