SINGER Priscilla Kalibbala has just released a new record which shows that she is all grown up. Before, she was considered as just another city girl making party vibe.

With her latest single, Kalibbala is out to prove that she is more than just pop fluff. She is getting tremendous airplay on local FM radios and this is just a pinch off her upcoming 11-track album.

In Nakwagala dda the singer tells a suitor that she was already crazy for him even before he popped the question.

The song is done to cheerful afrobeats that will move anybody who first listens to it. Kalibbala melds her smooth blues-style with bouncy rhythms.

Altogether, Nakwagala dda is both soothing and invigorating.
Kalibbala jumped into the music spotlight last year with Mwana Ggwe.

The song landed the singer her first number one chart spot on Simba FM, spending an amazing six weeks at the top.

She went on to become a popular concert attraction and a force to be reckoned with. She has also done soundtracks for the upcoming new movie ‘Battle Of The Souls’.

And meanwhile, she is hard on finishing her 11-track album.
One of the songs off it is Tuddeyo gye Twasookera, a duet with Qute Kaye.

It has already rocked the radio playlists. Crowds have been giving them standing ovations whenever they perform.

The song calls on lovers to revisit the beginning of their relationships.
Tuddeyo gye Twasookera has an addictive afrobeat to it but none of the cheerfulness that had endeared Kalibbala to concert hoppers last year.

However, one can hear and feel her growth as an artist.
