WHAT could get a man up from bed on a Saturday morning? Toyota Uganda Limited had the answer at the Paddock in Munyonyo.

It unveiled the new HZJ76 Landcruiser 2007 model and the men had to rush to be the first to witness. And with them came their families. The experience was not only for the eyes, but the whole body.

The test drive, on the roughened terrain that ends with a steep climb, gave the impression of one being able to control power.

And with pony rides, there was a point for comparison. Ian Walker, the managing director of Toyota Uganda, was quite expressive in explaining to his guests the technicalities of the new car.

And all that did not take any formalities or unnecessary protocol. And for the great brunch, there was barely a reason to leave. But the ordinate looking machine gave viewers another reason to live. “Do not drink and drive,” goes the advice that Toyota followed to the word by not providing alcoholic drinks.
