FAMILY wrangles came back to haunt fallen Kadongo Kamu maestro Paul Kafeero when his father, with whom they have had a long-running feud, did not turn up for Kafeero’s burial in Nkokonjeru, Mukono, last Saturday.

Diehard female fans made for the grave, claiming they wanted to be buried with their fallen hero. They were pushed off by pall bearers and other attendants. Such dedication!

The number of ‘wives’ registered was 19 with 29 children, but there was no stopping the number of people who came up and declared they were either ‘wives’ or ‘children’. And there was a lot of drama as relatives and ‘widows’ fought for the deceased’s property.
