A NEWLY-WED couple recently separated over bedding. The woman, only identified as Nanteza, reportedly left the home complaining that when the man married her, he had promised to take care of her.

A NEWLY-WED couple recently separated over bedding. The woman, only identified as Nanteza, reportedly left the home complaining that when the man married her, he had promised to take care of her.
However, on the wedding night, when the couple spent the night on a mat, she threatened to leave. Nanteza returned to her parents’ home in Nabweru, a suburb of Kampala, three days after the wedding, complaining that for two nights, the couple had slept on a mat. Despite her husband’s plea for her to go back, Nanteza vowed that unless he bought a mattress and bed, she would not leave her parents’ home.
